Very interesting test. It confirms what I have suspected on a number of my German helmets.
The blood adds a cool factor to the helmet. |

Cool detective work HB!
I may have to get one of these kits. I have a p38 I bought from the vets nephew. It was supposedly taken from a dead SS officer (aren't they all). When I took it apart to clean and oil it, under the grips was what looks like dried crusted blood. I did not clean it off, just reinstalled the grips. Maybe it is just sweat and grime, but it sure looks like dried blood. I'll get one of these kits and check it when i get the time. |
