Who makes a good ZF 4 mount

Im shure that this question has been asked more times then can be counted, however here i go.

im looking for a repro scope mount that will fit an AC 44. I just bought one from ebay, the gentleman gave me a money back GAH_RON_TEE (in my best french accent) that it would fit my rifle, however he had not tryed in an a Walther. i tryed the mount and it would not fit the rail on my rifle.

so help me out guys i would hate to waste this scope.

BTW my scope is a Tczech Post War.

IMO any repro scope mount will need fitting.

I bought one from Numrich and had to do some dremiling to get it to fit. I did just enough that I could get it on and off with a light tap of a no mar hammer. If you plan to shoot with it, you dont want it to get too lose and not hold zero.

If you paid about the same as the numrich one, i would just modify it to fit the rifle, if you paid more for a "drop in" fit then i would return it and order the cheaper one and fit it.

The only non german mount worth a darn IMO is the Czech mounts. I have one on a another rifle and it fits like a glove. Best bet if you can locate one.

thanks for the tip ill look for a tczech one.
i have the sarco mount, it would take a rubber mallet and constant pounding to get this ting on.
