Interesting BCD 4 LSR

I want ....

I picked up this BCD 4 a few months ago. Pics found at the bottom.

I'll tell you what I know and then I will ask what I would like to know.

BCD 4 reciever with BCD 4 contract barrel
Thick walled reciever which has been milled flat and drilled and tapped for the three securing screws (no holes for the two tap pins).
Vopo Sun burst on top of reciever
Right Reciever has Waffen Amt
Left reciever has "2" in crest in place of the Reich's eagle and a serial number (that falls within known BCD 4's)
Left barrel has "2" in crest in place of the Reich's eagle and a serial number (that falls within known BCD 4's)
The bolt matches the barrel and reciever
Safety and LSR mount are Repro's
Polished blue over light surface pitting.
Stock was incorrect (Flat Butt Plate early war)
Bands (Stamped) and numbered to the rifle
Trigger Guard (Post war Czech with enlarged trigger guard)

Now...
Should this be phosphated and not blued?
What does the "2" in crest mean? Second rate rifle?
Why did it come with a Czech trigger guard but have a Vopo Sunburst?
Who would have re-finished this rifle? Or was it made with left over parts?
Is the serial correct or renumbered in a post-war refurb?

This is kind of a neat piece in that it wasn't bubba who f'd with it and it isn't a sloppy RC. Who ever refurbed this took their time as per the "2" crest engravings. The other interesting point is that all Nazi marking other than the two Reich eagles that were replaced are still intact.

I am thinking of making it into a Sniper Clone (kind of...as at some point this rifle was destined to be sniper) but due to the markings could never be passed as "original".

Should I parkerize it? Or keep the blued finish? I know BCD 4's came in a blued and phosphate finish.

What type of trigger guard and bands should I add? I have seen pics of BCD 4's with milled parts and stamped parts.

If anyone can add any input on this it would be appreciated.

I've read that some of the LSR rifles had adjustable triggers as well. Does your trigger show any differences from a regular trigger, or is the trigger itself replaced as well?

No sadly it doesn't have an adjustable trigger. I found out some information on this rifle. It is an East German Refurb which was completed using several Czech and Czech salvaged German parts. That explains the VOPO Sunburst and the Czech winter trigger.

Other than the stock, trigger guard and some hardware the rifle matches (bolt, barrel, reciever and several internal parts).

It is the rare three hole reciever version (probably never used as a sniper rifle). I guess the Vopo re-works are a collectors item in their own right, so I won't touch the blue and I will get a second stock and make it into a LSR Clone (without drilling the two pin holes into the reciever), that way I can take off the hardware and replace the stock and it will be in the original VOPO condition and it will still be an original three hole reciever LSR.

I have a repro mount, scope can, slide rail cover, LSR tool and a Zeiss Zielvier scope. I just need a better scope as the Zeiss Zielvier were never used on the LSR.

I see numrich has a BLC marked zielsechs scope (repro) are they any good? Were they ever used on the LSR? The only documented scopes I have found used on the LSR are the BEK and Ajack scopes, but I have seen combat and propaganda photo's of other scopes mounted on an LSR.

Any input would be great.
